Cuffs and Cosies.

Isn’t it nice to get a project completed? There’s been a lot of sewing and knitting going on at Merulapie headquarters - my knitting needles clicked and Lee’s sewing machine rattled until we finished: new ipod/iphone/mp3/mobile device cosies and hand sewn wrist cuffs.

A stunning sweet taste this week - peas fresh from the garden. Ok, so there was only one peapod that survived the slugs and snails in all their destruction this Summer, but it was perfectly formed and ever-so-pretty. The tiny peas tasted even better than they looked - sweet and crisp.

Knitting at markets keeps your hands warm.

Are those of you with Winter cold hands feeling like ice already? I am. It usually starts in October, but Scotland has been cold and driech since August. So I’ve been knitting for two reasons : more stock for the shop and more warmth for my fingers!
