Those stumble stones are being placed in front of houses in the memory of the people who lived there and were deportated by the nazis. You can find them in a lot of places in germany and the project is still growing. And isn't it nice that you stumbled upon one and went and found out more about the person, so this man isn't forgotten or erased from memory!? There is so much poetry and rightfulness in this.
